Zakopane offers YOU fantastic value for money! This is a common theme amongst guests and staff here at White Side Holidays Poland. At the end of the day this is the reason we started as a company and it’s why we are still offering some of the most affordable ski and snowboard holidays in the whole of Europe. In our opinion the value for money is actually improving year after year as services and facilities are constantly improving.
Long gone are the days that skiing was only for rich folks or people who lived in the mountains, yet we still hear people writing it off as too expensive without even looking into it. Ski and snowboard trips are now an affordable holiday that can be enjoyed for a couple of days or a week so long as you look at the right destinations to suit your budget. It’s no good looking at the top three ski resorts in Europe for a cheap deal as you likely will find an offer that will make it appear cheaper but at the end of the day it’s only relative to their usually sky high prices and you still have to pay top dollar once in resort.
We do a quick check of our prices each year by searching the internet for various holiday companies and comparing their prices in different resorts against our Gold Package holidays in Zakopane, Poland. Yet again this year if you take the top search result for “Ski Holidays Europe” from a search engine and price up a ski holiday with everything we include in our Gold Package (Return Airport Transfers, 7 Nights Accommodation with Breakfast, 6 Days Ski/Snowboard Equipment Rental, 5 Days Return Ski Bus, 5 Day Lift Pass, 5 Ski/Snowboard Lessons and a Ski Buddy) our prices are BETTER THAN HALF THE PRICE!! Take a look yourself and if you think there’s a better deal out there let us know and we’ll be amazed, but we’ll look into it!!
It’s not just on the holiday package costs that you’ll save money in Poland though. Once you arrive in resorts for a ski holiday there’s obviously food and drink that needs to be paid for, here are a couple of comparisons (that we’ve experienced ourselves in the last couple of years) of costs on the slopes:
£1 – £2.50 a pint of beer (Poland) or £3 – £10!!! a pint (Mainstream resorts in Europe)
£1 – £5 a meal (Poland) or £6- £22 a meal (Mainstream resorts in Europe)
If you’re on a quick weekend break then maybe 3 or 4 meals at a slightly higher price will not be too bad but when you think of feeding a family or even a couple of people over a week long ski holiday then there are big savings to be made by avoiding larger, more expensive resorts.
We are always honest about the quality of the skiing and snowboarding available in Poland, so if you have any questions about the slopes, the town or anything else that you can’t find here on our website then send us an e-mail or give us a call and we’ll tell you straight.
