The first snowfalls of “Winter 2011/12” have fallen over the last couple of weeks. October 8th saw the first snow falling high up in the mountains and since then we’ve had cold weather and a few snowy days in town. Around the town snow has soon turned to slush and wet but the Tatra Mountains that provide the backdrop to the town are now white and will stay that way for another 9 months now. Skiing and snowboarding may still be a month or so away but ski jackets and hats are here to stay for winter.
Apart from the New Year week we still have plenty of space available in our chalets and hotels for any families and friends who would like to try a skiing holiday in Poland this winter. Just get in touch with us here at White Side Holidays Poland and we will give you a quote for the best value ski resort in Europe for your next winter ski holiday. Otherwise if you “like” us on facebook here then you can be kept up to date with the latest snow conditions, weather and other news from Zakopane around the year.
