Getting to Zakopane
All of our package options, Gold, Silver and Bronze include return airport transfers for Krakow International Airport. Should you wish to make your own way to Zakopane for your skiing or snowboarding holiday to Poland, simply let us know and we will deduct the appropriate costs from your package.
Flying to Poland
The nearest international airport to Zakopane is Krakow airport, which is 108km away (average – 2 hour drive). There are regular flights to and from the UK, and there are some great deals to be found if you book early through nearly all low cost airlines, including Ryan Air, Easy Jet, Jet 2, Wizzair, British Airways and more. Katowice international airport is located about 40km north of Krakow, and Wizzair offer regular flights to and from the UK.
If you wish to have airport transfers to and from Katowice airport included in your package there will be an additional cost according to the size of the group. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
Buses to Zakopane
If you land at Krakow Airport and wish to make your own way to Zakopane by bus you will need to take the following steps. Everything is signposted from the airport but you will need some Polish currency to pay for buses and trains.
• Shuttle bus to Airport Rail Link.
• Train – Krakow Central Rail Station – 20 minute journey.
• Short walk to Krakow Central Bus Station
• Bus to Zakopane – average journey time 2 hours 30 minutes. Buses run every 30 minutes. For timetables visit: Krakow to Zakopane/Zakopane to Krakow Bus Timetable (Dworzec is Polish for Bus Station).
